Starting April 1, 2025, your gas transmission administrator, Columbia Gas Transmission (TCO), will begin charging retail natural gas supply providers in Ohio, including AEP Energy, for increased storage and transmission costs. As a result, we must pass this unanticipated increase on to our residential accounts.

How does this impact you?
Due to this change, your current contract will be terminated. You will need to select a new price plan that includes the pass-through cost.

If you do not take action by due date, your account will be returned to default service with your local utility on your month year meter read date.
Please note, the rate increase applies whether you stay with a retail provider or return to your local utility.
